Our Story

She Defines Strength began with a dream. Our founder, Christine Joy Tulloch, wanted to create an event that would connect young female cancer warriors like herself, reminding them that they are beautiful, loved, and not alone. In 2013, in partnership with the Arbonne Charitable Foundation, Christine hosted her first Girls Glamour Night, which afterwards became a much loved annual event.

The success of the Glamour Night and the growing network of female cancer warriors it created, inspired Christine to envision a foundation that was further devoted to supporting young women battling cancer. In 2017, the She Defines Strength Foundation was officially born. In addition to Glamour Night, it would undertake a variety of initiatives that would seek to empower young women on their different cancer journeys. Her dream had grown bigger…

Christine’s vision for She Defines Strength was simple and heartfelt.

To create a community of sisterhood that connects, honours, and empowers female cancer fighters, survivors, and their support networks.
